Unit Manager for SSP at Copenhagen Airport

About you

You are a visible leader with both humor, authority and good communication skills. You are confident in yourself and secure in your leadership role, and you focus on developing and motivating your employees. You lead from the front, take responsibility and are not afraid to set demands.

You work independently, thrive on the floor among colleagues and guests and can maintain an overview, even when busy. You have an interest in sales and finance and understand how good operation, service and upselling contribute to good results. At the same time you are curious about the business and see opportunities to develop both your team and your unit.

You don’t need to know everything from the start. The most important thing is that you have the right mindset, take responsibility and are keen to learn and develop both yourself, your team and your unit.

Your responsibility

You are part of an F&B team and report to SSP’s Assistant Operations Manager.

You have the overall leadership and budgeting responsibility for the restaurant’s results and daily operations, where you independently prioritize tasks and work to ensure a well-functioning and efficient unit.

Your core tasks

Overall responsibility for the restaurant’s daily management and operations.

Ensure that all servings meet SSP’s high standards.

Recruitment, training and development of staff.

Responsible for budget and financial reporting as well as follow-up on results.

Actively work with sales and upselling to optimize the unit’s results.

Compliance with all relevant hygiene and safety regulations.

Ensure high operational standards and take initiative for ongoing improvements.

We are looking for someone who has

Solid management experience from the restaurant industry, preferably as restaurant manager or similar.

Strong communication skills.

Experience with financial management and budget responsibility.

Ability to work flexibly and effectively under pressure.

A professional and energetic approach and a positive attitude.

Interest in daily operations, sales and finance and a desire to learn and develop the business.

Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.

You speak and understand Danish or another Scandinavian language as well as English.

You must also have a clean criminal record and be able to undergo an extended background check in accordance with the Ministry of Transport’s rules for working in the airport.
