University pedagogical consultant

At University Pedagogy, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), a position as an educational consultant is announced to undertake tasks within university pedagogical competence development and educational development – including teaching using AI - to be filled 1 January 2027.

About the position

SDU University Pedagogy is a unit whose main task is to provide pedagogical competence development for SDU's teachers and educational leaders. We do this through, among other things, running courses and workshops, participating in development projects, and by disseminating university and digital pedagogical practice locally, nationally and internationally.

The tasks for you, in collaboration with the unit's other staff, will be to

• develop and deliver pedagogical competence development activities, i.e. workshops, courses, facilitated programs, etc., for all of the university's teacher- and educational leader groups
• further develop and implement University Pedagogy on Danish and English for SDU's adjuncts
• support teachers' continued competence development in areas including AI in teaching and learning
• collaborate on new projects concerning education and teaching, guidance and examinations

About you

You are expected to have

• a master's degree, possibly supplemented with relevant continuing education in pedagogy or digital pedagogy
• teaching experience – preferably at university level and ideally within the university pedagogical field
• broad knowledge of learning processes and didactics as well as strong engagement in university pedagogy

It is also an advantage if you have

• development and/or research experience within the pedagogical or digital-pedagogical area
• experience with supervision and professional sparring
• developed and produced e-learning programs and digital resources
• worked with competence development in AI in teaching, guidance and/or examinations

Salary and employment terms

You will be employed in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant professional organization depending on your educational background.

Salary is set in accordance with the current agreement and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the content of the position, responsibility and requirements for qualifications. You have the opportunity to negotiate allowances based on experience and competencies. This is a permanent full-time position.

The workplace is SDU Campus Odense, but with the possibility of flexible planning of home-working days by agreement.
