At Service & Rengøring in Hospitalsbyen we are looking for a motivated cleaning assistant for a temporary position in Psychiatry. We need a person who wants to be part of our team and help keep the psychiatry clean, safe and ready for daily operations.

About the job

As a cleaning assistant in Psychiatry, you will have a varied day with responsibility for an important environment. Your tasks will include among other things:

• Cleansing of patient rooms, bathrooms, common areas and staff rooms.
• Various service tasks such as arranging and tidying up food/coffee.
• Self-check and ordering of food and goods.
• Cooperation with other staff to ensure a safe everyday life.

You will work among psychiatric patients with different diagnoses. It requires situational awareness and the ability to navigate a environment where changes can occur. We have close collaboration with the other staff, so you are always informed about how to work most safely and appropriately.

• Are flexible and thrive in a daily life where tasks can change.
• Speak and write Danish (since instructions and emails are in Danish).
• Are comfortable using mobile and IT in your work.

Working hours and framework

The position is a temporary employment, which makes it perfect for a sabbatical year.

You will work on an 8-week cycle with the following working hours

• Weekday shifts: 08:00 – 13:30
• Weekend shifts (every 4 weeks): 12:00 – 20:00

Your workplace

The work takes place on the Psychiatry site in Hospitalsbyen, 9260 Gistrup. There are good transport options by bus (lines 2, 12, 54 and 954X) right to the door.
