We are looking for a night shift worker for our fixed night shift team at HabitusHuset Sølyst. The position is full-time, where you work 7 days, and then have 7 days off.

The night tasks consist of assisting citizens as needed, documentation and practical tasks. Challenging situations may arise, where it is important that you have your pedagogical understanding in place and can provide professional care in the situation.

You must be prepared for personal care to occur.

• Are clear in your communication, both verbally and in writing

About us

HabitusHuset Sølyst is located in lovely physical surroundings in an old seaside hotel with a view over Faxe Bay. The house forms the framework for the daily life of 10 people. It is an exciting and challenging workplace with skilled colleagues who work dedicatedly to create good lives for our residents. We actively use the natural surroundings in our pedagogy where it makes sense. We work hard to succeed in creating quality of life for the people who live with us.

Our residents all have pervasive developmental disorders within the autism spectrum and at times a high level of frustration. Many also have psychiatric co-morbidity as well as mild to severe mental retardation.

Professional environment

We are divided into small dedicated teams and assigned to a specific resident on a fixed basis. For you as an employee, this means a focus on your professional and personal development. We work structurally with development plans in an annual wheel. This ensures a common approach to the citizen, and that you can develop yourself with regard to the task.

We work based on the principles of Low Arousal and visually structured pedagogy. The goal of our work is always to minimize frustration and increase the quality of life for the individual. We believe that stress reduction and a clear uniform structure create calm and well-being for our residents, while we have a strong focus on relational attachment.

Information and application

The position is 37 hours, and the working hours are 21:45-08:15 seven days a week after agreement with management. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
