Vendepunktet Nexus seeks managing director – with possibility of co-ownership

Recently established social-pedagogical company is seeking an experienced and engaged day-to-day manager who will help build the house from the ground up – and become a co-owner of it.

About the position

We are establishing a new company within the specialized social sector, which will deliver:

• Social-pedagogical support under the Danish Social Services Act § 85 – support for citizens in their own homes to develop skills, create daily structure and increase independence
• Protected employment under § 103 – employment opportunities for citizens who cannot obtain or maintain a job on ordinary terms
• Activities and social interaction offers under § 104 – day services focused on well-being, activation and social community

As the day-to-day manager you will have overall responsibility for establishing, operating and developing the services from scratch – professionally, operationally and commercially. You will become the central driving force in a company where you are not only employed, but also have the opportunity as co-owner and co-creator of the future.

Your responsibilities

• Daily management and operation of the services under §§ 85, 103 and 104
• Responsibility for the professional content, the pedagogical line and the quality of the effort towards the citizens
• Staff management, including recruitment, onboarding and daily sparring with the employees
• Dialogue and collaboration with referring municipalities and other partners
• Budget and operational responsibility in collaboration with the company’s other owners
• Participation in building the company’s business base, including capacity expansion and development of new offers

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant social, pedagogical or health-related background (e.g., social worker, pedagog, nurse or similar)
• Have experience with leadership in the specialized social sector – preferably with knowledge of §§ 85, 103 and/or 104
• Have business understanding and a desire to take co-ownership – both professionally and financially
• Are a strong relational leader who can build trust with staff, citizens and collaborating municipalities
• Are structured, self-driven and thrive on building something from the ground up
