About the job

The position is located in Finance & Support, which handles the municipality's central and cross-cutting functions within Finance & Procurement, IT & Digitalisation, HR & Legal, as well as Policy & Leadership. We are a department with high professionalism, good development opportunities and a strong collaborative culture across the organization.

As Contract Manager you will play a central role in developing and professionalising the municipality's contract management. The position is newly established, giving you the opportunity to shape both the tasks and the future development of the area.

You will be part of a small, professionally strong team consisting of a lawyer, a procurement and tendering consultant, and you. Together we handle the municipality's tenders, purchasing and contract management and continuously work to develop the area so that the municipality gets the greatest possible value from its agreements. We help each other in everyday life, share knowledge and emphasise close cooperation, where professional sparring is a natural part of solving the task.

With a growing focus on public procurement and contract management, you will also be an important collaborative partner across the organization. You should therefore be prepared to engage in many relationships and contribute to setting the agenda across.

Your tasks

There will be opportunities to tailor tasks and responsibilities to the individual candidate. You may not be able to check off all points, but the tasks will largely be composed from the items below:

• Prepare management information and consumption analyses that provide insight into the organization's use of agreements, suppliers and purchasing patterns
• Support the municipality's overall contract management including IT contracts with a focus on compliance with contract terms and ongoing follow-up
• Analyze procurement and consumption data to identify savings and optimization opportunities
• Carry out cross-cutting risk and compliance analyses of the contract portfolio
• Segment contracts by value, complexity and risk level to support prioritization and governance
• Conduct invoice control and ensure that invoicing is in accordance with the concluded agreements

What we expect from you

Your educational background is not decisive. The most important thing is that you have the desire and ability to work with contract management in a complex organization and translate data and analyses into concrete improvements.

• Have knowledge of public procurement and tender rules, or a desire to develop this knowledge.

Salary and terms of employment

You will be paid according to the applicable collective agreement and in agreement with the negotiating organization. We are a family-friendly workplace with flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work.
