About the job

We are so fortunate to be expanding and therefore seek a nurse for our residential team.

The position is full-time, but of course we are open to discussing the number of hours if there is a strong wish for fewer hours. The position is to be filled as of January 1, 2027.

We work based on the F-ACT model and have a separate model description for the residential team, a strong focus on strengthening the good collaboration with the residential facilities, including in the form of cooperation agreements. In addition, we offer integrated dual-diagnosis treatment in a 3-step implementation phase, where in the summer we entered the 3rd and final part of the implementation of IDD treatment.

We will continue to work with the F-ACT model and combine substance use treatment within the framework we have. The F-ACT model aims to offer a more flexible treatment, where we have greater opportunity to meet the patient in their local environment. We also have the possibility to intensify the treatment if the patient becomes unstable and in unstable phases the whole team will undertake the task of stabilizing the patient. We have a strong focus on promoting our patients' recovery process.

As of January 1, 2025 we have started expanding our residential team from hosting residential patients from the Holbæk, Kalundborg and Odsherred municipalities to also include residential patients from Slagelse, Ringsted and Sorø municipalities, and we have come a long way in the process of feeling like a new unified team. We meet in person in Holbæk 3 days a week for board meetings. The team is an outreach team, which is why half of your conversations will take place at the residential facilities.

We also offer virtual and ambulatory conversations. There is a strong emphasis on ensuring a good collaboration with the residential facilities, which is why sparring and alignment of expectations will be part of the ongoing dialogue. You will be part of a team consisting of multiple professional groups; there is a chief physician, consulting physician, senior psychologist, nurses, pedagogues, social worker, occupational therapist, secretaries and peer workers.

We actively work with onboarding and what we hear from the latest employees is that you get a warm and good welcome. It is a team with a good atmosphere and everyone actively contributes to creating a positive mood. There is room for questions and sparring with nearby colleagues. You will receive an introductory program, a mentorship scheme and planned conversations with your immediate supervisor in the first year of your employment.

Your qualifications

We are seeking experienced nurses. You must be able to plan and structure your work independently while actively engaging in the community/team. You should have an interest in involving the patient, their relatives and other relevant collaboration partners in the treatment as well as an interest in working recovery-oriented. Since we are very outreach-based, it is a requirement that you hold a category B driver’s license. You must be prepared that your primary task will be to be the clinical contact person for approximately 30 patients.

We offer

An engaged staff group with room for differences and a high ceiling. Supervision, well-being and a good working environment are prioritized. There are opportunities for professional development, collegial sparring and interdisciplinary conferences. You can work with a high degree of independence and have the opportunity to help plan your daily life. We can offer you a workplace where we strive to take good care of the patients and of each other.

In this context it is important that the staff group possesses empathy and social understanding, the ability to stay calm in pressured situations, prioritizes dialogue and where smiles and humor can often be a good catalyst.

Further information

You are very welcome to visit unconditionally, or call to hear more about the position from Chief Physician Line Lindhardt, Chief Specialist Mia Rydahl or Chief Nurse Katrine Agnete Runge. A job and function description for the position can be obtained.

If we have sparked your interest and desire to apply, please send us your application.

Interviews will be held on December 1, 2026 at the District Psychiatry Holbæk.

Application deadline 26 November 2026.
