About the job

The vacant position is based on 37 hours per week, and is to be filled on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

What will your area of work be, and who will you work with?

Your primary task as a caseworker in the flex job team will be to help and support unemployment benefit recipients on their path to a flex job. This will include, among other things, conducting the statutory job interviews, where you assist with, for example, application materials, initiating relevant offers, and providing motivation, guidance and advice regarding concrete job search.

In addition, you will be responsible for conducting the statutory follow-up interviews for flex jobs with the citizens who are employed in flex jobs. As part of the collaboration with the citizens, we also use Frederiksberg Digital Jobcenter, which is an online platform for unemployed citizens in Frederiksberg.

You will also be required to work with the citizens in the flex job scheme who can no longer be available for a flex job, and who therefore need their case presented to the municipality's pension committee. You will be responsible for documenting that the work capacity has permanently ceased, and for preparing and presenting the case in writing to the pension committee with a view to a decision.

You will have a fixed caseload, but the flex job team also has a shared responsibility for the overall task-solving and for ensuring the best results for the citizens.

The flex job team consists of four employees. The team works closely with both the corporate service and the municipality's disability consultant, who are important partners in the task solving. In addition, the team also communicates with doctors, other actors, other job center teams, the social department, etc.

We work in a team-based environment with good opportunities for professional sparring, and with colleagues who actively help and support each other in daily life.

Our values

We focus on creating a workplace with a safe working environment where we accommodate each other and acknowledge each other's differences. That we are different and curious about one another is a strength that contributes to a more nuanced view of case processing. It also contributes to us being able to laugh together and lift each other up with humor in a sometimes hectic environment.

We value ongoing skills development and further education to ensure a high professional level. In addition, we value that there is room for immersion in complex legal material.

You will have great freedom to plan your own day and also great influence on prioritising the tasks to be solved. However, we work in a politically governed organization, and it may happen that urgent tasks come in from the side, which means that we may have to drop what we have in our hands to solve the task.

Professional and personal competences

It is an advantage if you have experience with unemployment benefit and flex job areas, alternatively you have authority experience from one of the other target groups in the Act on an Active Employment Effort.

Regardless of your level of experience, we ensure that you receive a secure start with thorough training.

We have structured training plans ready for you, and since we regularly have interns in the department, a strong learning environment is a natural part of our everyday life.

However, we expect that you

  • Have a good understanding of the law
  • Are good at communicating both verbally and in writing
  • Write in clear and understandable Danish, and are aware that the citizens who need to understand us have very different prerequisites
  • Have a professional approach to citizens who call in, and enjoy providing them with good service
  • Seek and protect the good cooperation, which is a prerequisite for success in the job
  • Believe that everyone has a place in the labor market, even if there is reduced work capacity and different accommodation needs
  • Actively participate and contribute to the team's development
  • Can adapt quickly in an environment that can be hectic at times
  • Have a flair for IT
  • Are comfortable navigating between several different IT systems, and quickly become familiar with new systems. We use Fasit as the case management system.

We offer

  • Central location with easy access to public transport
  • Good physical premises
  • Good canteen
  • An center with a high level of professional competence where we value ongoing development
  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunity for remote work
