We are looking for a finance and accounting consultant for BDO in Esbjerg

About BDO and the position

BDO is one of the country’s largest advisory and audit firms with 35 offices in Denmark and one in Greenland, as well as more than 1,800 employees. At the Esbjerg office we are approximately 130 engaged colleagues - including 18 in the BSO team.

In BSO we work closely with our clients on their daily financial function. As a finance and accounting consultant you will therefore be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Financial accounting, reconciliation and month-/year-end closings
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable management, VAT and reporting
• Independent work with your own client portfolio, but also close collaboration with colleagues and management

Common to the tasks is that there is always a focus on quality, digitalization and creating security for the customer.

In the department – as well as in the office – there is plenty of room. We prioritise the strong professional environment, with a high degree of collaboration, sparring and knowledge sharing. About you

We imagine that you have

• Minimum 3 years of experience within bookkeeping and accounting, and preferably more
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• Interest in digitalization and experience with financial systems – e.g., e-conomic, Uniconta or similar
• You work with a quality-conscious and structured approach, so that customers can safely entrust their finances to you and BDO
