Vigilant Night Guard for Center for Social Intervention

Center for Social Indsats has a permanent night shift position. The positions are full-time employment, however we are open if other hours are desired - between 32.5-37 hours/week. You should expect to work every other weekend.

As a night shift worker at Skovvang, Lillelund and Welschsvej, you will become part of the Center for Social Indsats under the Social Department in Holstebro Municipality, which works with a very special target group consisting of citizens from 18 years old with particular complex challenges in the form of addiction, homelessness, mental and social problems to varying degrees and extents.

We are seeking a new colleague who wishes to support this complex target group, as they need the support.

We are primarily looking for a colleague for the Night Shift Team at Skovvang, but shifts may occur at the two other locations during holidays and illness. The night standby has both team meetings and collegial sparring with a psychologist.

We are seeking a colleague who could see themselves in a permanent employment with a 7/7 arrangement.

We expect that you

• are educated as a social and health care assistant
• are very much experienced with working at night
• have experience with and a sense for working with the target group of vulnerable citizens
• are responsible and create natural trust and respect for your person and are a good colleague
• know your own limits, strengths and weaknesses
• have good situational awareness and can balance between patience and consistency
• An important skill is to be able to provide basic care and implement calming, facilitating pedagogy
