Can you make a difference on a completely ordinary Tuesday?

We are looking for temporary workers for Svenstrupgårds §110 and The Alternative Care Home §107/108

With us, the job is about people. About creating a good everyday life together with people who live with mental health challenges, substance use, and complex life circumstances.

You may be a student, have experience from the social sector, or come with life experience from other contexts. The most important is that you thrive in meeting people who may be vulnerable, affected, or need extra support in daily life.

We succeed well together with you when you

• see the tasks that need to be done and get started without being asked.
• help with practical tasks, meals, tidying up and other daily chores.
• take the initiative to contact and engage with the residents.
• actively participate in activities such as walks, games, cooking, or a cup of coffee at the table.
• help residents get started with communities and everyday activities.
• contribute to a calm and secure atmosphere in the house.
• share relevant observations with colleagues and contribute to the collective work.

How we meet people

We know that people do the best they can with the opportunities and experiences they bring.

We support the residents in making choices that can create well-being and quality of life, while recognizing that development can look different from person to person.

When situations become difficult, we consciously work to create calm, overview, and security. We maintain calm and help each other find the solutions that work best in the situation.

You do not need to know our professional approaches beforehand. You will receive thorough training when you start.

About us

Svenstrupgårds §110 is a temporary and acute residential facility for people who are homeless and who often have a substance use issue or other social and mental health challenges.

The Alternative Care Home (§107 and §108) is a residential facility for people with significant mental health, social, and often substance-related challenges.

Common to both offers is that we work to create a safe, dignified and meaningful daily life, where relationships and community make a difference.

Maybe you are the one who can make a difference on an ordinary Tuesday.

We are staffed with day, evening, and night shifts seven days a week. Our temporary workers cover both planned shifts related to meeting activities and in case of sudden illness.

Come to the information evening at Svenstrupgård on Wednesday 28/10 at 19:00, where you will meet several of us from Svenstrupgård, who will tell you more about the work as a temp, and where you have the opportunity to ask questions and get a tour of the place.

You should come to Lejrevej 10, past the main entrance and over to our workshop where there are signs with “workshop” and “gate 1-7”, then you will find us there.
