About the job
Become part of a safe and specialized team where relationships, stability, and care are the focus of the work.
About the boy and your work day
The boy does not have his own breathing when he sleeps, and is therefore dependent on non-invasive respiratory support during sleep.
On weekdays you accompany him to kindergarten, and monitor his respiratory treatment when he sleeps for a nap. There is no personal care.
The rest of the day you are a calm and secure adult around him, and you naturally participate in his everyday life and activities.
Your main tasks are
- Respiratory monitoring during sleep
- Observation and handling of respiratory equipment
- To create security and continuity around the boy
- To accompany him to kindergarten and at the family's activities
The family loves to travel, and they regularly stay at their summer house in Falster.
Therefore you should be willing and able to occasionally accompany the family – of course as a planned part of your work.
About the positions
The positions are 36 hours per week on average, distributed over 12-hour shifts in a fixed 6-week cycle.
Fixed day shift at 07.00–19.00
- Long shifts and thus fewer working days
- Thorough training with the boy
- Subsequent certification at Respirationscenter Øst
You must be prepared to be part of a self-sufficient team, and to step in for example night shifts.
In addition to being a trained social and health care assistant we envisage that you
-Are stable, responsible and punctual
-Thrive with independent work and close collaboration with the family
-Are calm, present and happy to work with children
-Can maintain an overview if a situation changes
-Have a driving license and a car, with the possibility to occasionally accompany the family on trips and stays
Experience with respiratory treatment is an advantage, but not a requirement . The most important is that you want to learn and take responsibility.
You will receive 4–6 training shifts, and subsequently certified at Respirationscenter Øst.
We offer
A meaningful job with time for calm, presence and professionalism
-A fixed and predictable shift schedule
-Long shifts and good opportunity for consecutive time off
-Thorough training and RCØ certification
-A close collaboration with the family and your colleagues
-A fixed area leader from whom you can receive sparring
-Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement with FOA
