At ActivCare we are now seeking one disability assistant who wants to become part of a respiratory team in Nordborg. The team is well on its way to being in place, but we are missing the last colleague who wants to contribute with stability, presence and good collaboration.

The position is 28 hours per week in day shifts , and you work every 3rd weekend .

A daily life where your contribution matters

You will become part of the everyday life of a man in his late 60s who, after an accident, needs respiratory support. He uses a wheelchair, still has use of his arms and needs a stable team around him to create security and continuity in daily life.

As a disability assistant you will therefore work closely with the client and become an important part of his daily life.

The tasks include, among other things, respiratory monitoring and personal care. You will of course receive the necessary training so you are well prepared for the task.

Your educational background is not the most important to us. Instead, we emphasize that you:

• are responsible, stable and punctual
• thrive on working closely with one person
• can create calm, security and structure around you
• are keen to learn about the respiratory field
• thrive in close collaboration with the client, relatives and colleagues
• are flexible and contribute positively to the team
• have a driver's license and car

Experience in the care sector is advantageous but not required. We provide the professional training. You bring the engagement and the desire for the task.

Your working hours

The position is for you who would like to have a fixed and manageable frame around your working life:

• 28 hours per week
• Day shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Fixed rotation
• Work every 3rd weekend
