Then you may be our new colleague at Viby Skole on Zealand. You will have a central role in 2nd grade, where your main subjects will be History, Natural Science and Technology, Physical Education and Art.

As the year group's new teacher you will be an important piece in a close, structured year-group team, where community, structure and academic development are in the foreground. We work with the basis of the values community, participation and curiosity to ensure a safe learning environment, where students can develop academically, socially and personally. With us you land safely, as we have a good mentor system with fixed sparring from an experienced teacher who helps you get started with everyday life.

In the current school year you will be an active part of two large pedagogical initiatives. We are in the middle of an exciting pilot project in collaboration with Skolestyrken, which focuses on new tools for working with students' well-being, just as we are implementing NEST-pedagogical initiatives in all classes. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of fixed pedagogical structures in the classroom, but with your mentor and your team behind you we are always ready to equip you well.

A versatile everyday life with room for big questions and high spirits

Academic your position spans widely, and you will have ample opportunity to shape the instruction in the year group. In History and Natural Science/Technology you should open the world for students by examining the past, experimenting with the present and whetting their natural curiosity about the world around them. At the same time you should put body and creativity into play in Physical Education and Art, where you create the framework for movement joy, team sport, motor development and visual expressions.

Who are we?

Viby Skole is a well-functioning school located on two campuses, which in the coming years will be expanded to be fully three-stream. This position is anchored at the Ørstedvej department, which houses 0-5th grade and after-school care. We have a strong focus on creating good transitions for students and a strong coherence between the school's two departments. As a workplace we value a good working environment highly, which is reflected in a close, curious and open collaboration between management and staff.

The practical

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement, and a child- and criminal background check as well as references will be obtained before employment. The position is 21 hours per week, but we are willing to discuss the number of hours if there is a good match for Viby Sj. Skole.
