At Fælledgården we meet all people – and especially older people – with an open mind and a warm heart, and we respect each individual's right to decide for themselves how they want to be helped.

Your primary task will be to help the elderly residents in the nursing home, so they are comfortable and their everyday lives run smoothly. You will therefore assist with both practical tasks and personal care – such as changing bed linen, helping them into the bath, tidying hair and getting dressed.

So of course it’s a plus if you have experience with the elderly or care, or e.g. are trained as a social- and health assistant or -aide, but regardless of experience you will receive a thorough introduction to the tasks when you start with us. And when you are ready to perform the tasks on your own, there is always a colleague nearby if you need guidance.

The practical

Fælledgården is located in Østerbro and is Denmark's largest nursing home. You can read more about the nursing home here .

There is the possibility to be employed as an on-call substitute, where you cover in when there is e.g. a sick leave or similar. You can also be employed in a fixed part-time position of up to 12 hours per week. The hours can be accumulated, so you e.g. work regularly every 2nd weekend or have fixed shifts on weekdays. If you are a trained nurse, SOSU assistant or SOSU helper you also have the possibility to obtain full-time if you wish.

Terms of employment

You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement, and in connection with your possible employment we will obtain a criminal record check and references. We hope you can start as soon as possible, but we will consider candidates up to the application deadline.
