In the Patient Kitchen at Randers Regional Hospital we focus on using seasonally fresh, organic ingredients and making sustainable climate-friendly meals with as little food waste as possible. That is our dream, and we hope that is also your approach to food production, just as we of course hope you will help develop and challenge our concept and approach.

The position is 37 hours per week, as of 01.11.2026 or as soon as possible.

Patient Kitchen produces hot-held, centrally portioned meals and serves about 700 users each day.

The staff consists of bachelor’s degree holders in Nutrition and Health, økonomaer, clinical dieticians, bakers, butchers, chefs, nutrition assistants, kitchen and canteen staff.

• We work in teams with Lean principles
• We work with an organic and sustainable mindset, and in 2016, as the first hospital in Denmark, received the Organic Dining Gold label and are 100% organic in the meat and bakery departments.
• Our food is prepared from scratch from fresh ingredients
• We have a strong focus on nutritionally vulnerable patients, quality and service.

WE EXPECT THE COORDINATOR TO

• Is educated as a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health combined with a nutrition-related background or another nutrition-related education
• Works systematically, visionary and has administrative skills
• Has an interest in purchasing raw materials, supplier contact, and can ensure high quality and professional development
• Is available as a substitute during the production manager's absence
• Has good collaboration skills
• Clinical supervisor for students
• Is a power user of various IT programs, and trains staff in used systems
• Reports payroll, handles invoices and oversees ecological reports
• Various ad hoc tasks
