We are looking for an engaged and experienced colleague for a maternity leave position in day shifts and with a shift every 4th weekend, and with the possibility of permanent employment.

About us

As our new nurse you will become part of a team of 9 nurses. We provide nursing care at Svovlhatten, Herluf Trolle, Sanderum and Korsløkkehaven.

You will be attached to one of our nursing homes and colleagues will help you with the tasks.

On weekends there are always 2 nurses on duty and tasks are shared here.

We are a flexible nursing group with regard to shifts, each other, and we plan the tasks ourselves.

About the job

Our primary areas of work in nursing

• Nursing according to the Health Act §138
• Complex clinical nursing, e.g. wound care, parenteral nutrition, palliation, nutrition, stoma care, catheter, IV treatment etc. IV treatment is new, and you will of course receive training.
• Dispensing of complex medications.
• Guidance on health-promoting initiatives to residents with newly diagnosed disease, chronic disease and with lifestyle-related illnesses.
• Develop nursing in collaboration with social and health assistants, among others at social- and health assistant meetings.
• Quality follow-up and medication audits.
• Nexus follow-up on new residents and general follow-up.
• Close collaboration with the nursing home doctor.

Our work includes, among other things

• Detection and follow-up of complex nursing tasks.
• Developing and strengthening the professional level.
• Guidance in relation to the individual resident.
• Ensure care and treatment within palliation, dementia, wound care and other illnesses.
• Handle complex disease treatment and medication in collaboration with the general practitioner and hospital.
• Contribute to quality development.
• Nexus documentation.

We work as a team and we are good at collaborating with each other.

You will receive professional leadership, as both the head and the assistant head are nurses.

Residents at the nursing homes

• A complex disease profile with high demands for treatment, care and medication
• Very vulnerable and multimorbid residents
• Health-related, physical, psychological and social issues

Salary and employment terms

Start as soon as possible. Salary and employment terms in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. The position is paid according to the current agreement. The expected salary level will be stated prior to any interview and depends on experience and qualifications
