As a teacher you will have a varied daily life, with a great deal of autonomy combined with flexible working hours. You should be aware that there are periods of peak demand.

You should be eager to work on development in relation to yourself, your team and the changing demands of the world around you.

You will independently implement and plan the teaching within the programs’ areas in close collaboration with colleagues and the study director.

Teaching takes place both with traditional classes at the schools, and also with running virtual modules via Teams and Zoom platforms.

Our programs are hands-on and practice-oriented, and it will be viewed as a major advantage if you have practical experience within the financial sectors.

You will work in a dynamic environment with many interfaces both internally and externally, as we have close cooperation with the business community.

You must be able to communicate and interact with young people and be able to make theories applicable in practice.

Your background

• you must at minimum have a Bachelor/HD if you are to teach as a finance economist
• you must at minimum have a master's degree to teach on our Finance Bachelor.
• you have practical experience in one or more financial sectors
• you are good at working independently and maintaining an overview in a day with diverse tasks
• you have good collaboration skills and can engage in close sparring with others
• teaching experience is an advantage
• you have an interest in working on research and development projects.

Practical information

We hire you as an adjunct (adjunkt) on a full-time basis with a plan for lecturer qualification toward a lecturer assessment within 4 years. This means, among other things, that you will upskill in the pedagogical, didactic and research areas. If you already have a positive lecturer evaluation in the area, you will be appointed as a lecturer.

Appointment and remuneration are made in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with the Ministry of Finance and the job structure for teachers at business academies, professional bachelor colleges and the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

If you have been lecturer-qualified or have received credit after 2003 – the job structure, it is possible to attach a request for lecturer assessment according to regulation no. 673 of 13 May, 2020 on lecturer qualification.

The workplace is Zealand Sjællands Erhvervsakademi where we offer the financial programs. The individual teacher is typically attached to 2 locations. Meetings are held in Næstved.
