Visitator for Health and Elders

We are seeking a visitation officer for Team Care and Rehabilitation (TOR) as primary visitation officer.

Are you a professionally strong and engaged authority person with experience in visitation and authority work? Do you have an eye for both the individual citizen's needs and the legal framework? Then you may be our new primary visitation officer.

Center for Health and Elderly is currently seeking a visitation officer to handle applications for personal or practical assistance, holistic care, nursing care, training and elderly- or assisted living housing, for a team of 12 experienced colleagues.

The development of municipal health tasks places high demands on health and care efforts, including the effort to assess and ensure the right help and support for the citizens. If you have an overview and good judgment as well as good collaboration and decision-making skills and are service-oriented, then you are just the person we are looking for in our position.

About the job

You will be responsible for receiving and processing inquiries about help and support, in relation to;

• Visitation for holistic care and personal and practical assistance
• Visitation for nursing care
• Visitation for selected aids
• Visitation for temporary 24-hour placements
• Visitation for care of seriously ill
• Proximity visitation
• Visitation for assisted living and elderly housing
• Transport schemes
• Coordinate efforts across professional areas and partners
• Provide advice and guidance to citizens, relatives and partners
• Contribute to development and quality assurance of the visitation area

We expect that you

• have a relevant social or health professional education, such as occupational therapy or physiotherapy or nursing
• have experience with authority work and visitation
• have knowledge of relevant legislation and good administrative practice
• can work independently and at the same time actively participate in interdisciplinary collaboration
• have good communication skills – both oral and written
• work in a structured way and have a focus on quality, documentation and legal certainty
