Visitator for Admissions and Guidance

We are in the process of developing the collaboration between the visitation service and providers of holistic care and services under the Social Services Act.

We are working together to find good and flexible solutions that start from the individual citizen. It should be easier to receive the help that makes sense while also having influence on one’s own everyday life.

We are now seeking a visitation officer as of January 1, 2027, who wants to be part of the development, who thrives in authority work in holistic care, focuses on rehabilitation, and can create good collaborative relationships across professional groups.

You will become part of a team where we help each other, share our knowledge and use one another in everyday life. We emphasize good collaboration and finding solutions that make sense for the citizens.

Your main tasks

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of citizens’ needs, resources and wishes
• Make decisions under the Social Services Act and the Elderly Act
• Advise citizens and relatives about possibilities and solutions
• Facilitate collaboration between home care, therapists, nurses and other professional groups around the citizen’s course/plan
• Be involved in developing the collaboration around the citizen across the municipality.

Your competencies

• Have a health professional education at bachelor level
• Have experience with authority work and preferably an authority education
• Have an eye for both legislation, rehabilitation and the citizen’s perspective
• Thrives in collaboration with citizens, relatives and colleagues across professional areas
• Work in a structured way and can prioritize in a daily life with many different tasks
• Communicate clearly and respectfully
• Have a driving license (category B).
• Can support and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration based on the principles of holistic care

As a visitation officer and facilitator in Holistic Care, you have an important role in the meeting with the citizen and the team around the citizen. You must both make decisions, be a sparring partner and help to find good solutions together with the citizen. You also collaborate closely with relatives and others around the citizen.

You will have a daily life where you are at the town hall, visit citizens and are close to the day-to-day operations at the home care providers. You collaborate closely with home care providers and help ensure coherence between the help the citizen is granted and how the help is planned and delivered.

Who are we

Visitation and Guidance is part of the Section for Living at the Center for Care and Health Promotion.

We are a team with different professional backgrounds who work closely together in daily life. We have high professionalism, but there is also room for humor, sparring and helping each other when needed.

We are still in the process of developing our collaboration with the municipality’s home care providers. This means we come even closer to each other in daily life and work together to find good solutions with the citizens.

Hiring process and salary

The hiring date is January 1, 2027.

We expect to hold first interviews on November 9, 10 and 11, 2026 and second interviews on November 13, 2026.

The position is basically 37 hours and permanent.

Application deadline: October 26, 2026

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the collective agreement for nurses, physiotherapists or occupational therapists in municipalities and according to local salary formation principles and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

Salary range for the position as a nurse is 38,336 DKK – 46,500 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

Salary range for the position as a physiotherapist is 31,311 DKK – 43,831 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

Salary range for the position as an occupational therapist is 31,311 DKK – 45,282 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

The salary depends on a negotiation between the manager and the professional organization that has the negotiating rights for the applicable collective agreement.

The composition of the salary depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
