Visitation Officer for Visitation and Guidance – join us in developing the future holistic care in Ballerup

We are in the process of developing the collaboration between the visitation service and the providers of holistic care and services under the Social Services Act.

We are working together to find good and flexible solutions that take the individual citizen as the starting point. It should be easier to obtain the help that makes sense and at the same time have influence on one's own daily life.

Now we are looking for a visitation officer as of January 1, 2027, who wants to be part of the development, someone who thrives with authority work in holistic care, has a focus on rehabilitation and can build good collaboration across professional groups.

You will become part of a team where we help each other, share our knowledge and use each other in everyday life. We place emphasis on good collaboration and on finding solutions that make sense for the citizens.

Your main tasks

• Make holistic assessments of citizens' needs, resources and wishes
• Make decisions under the Social Services Act and the Older People Act
• Advise citizens and relatives about possibilities and solutions
• Facilitate collaboration between home care, therapists, nurses and other professional groups around the citizen's process
• Help develop collaboration around the citizen across the municipality.

Your competencies

• Have a health professional education at bachelor level
• Have experience with authority work and preferably an authority education
• Have a view of both legislation, rehabilitation and the citizen's perspective
• Thrives in collaboration with citizens, relatives and colleagues across professions
• Works in a structured way and can prioritise in a daily life with many different tasks
• Communicates clearly and respectfully
• Has a driving license (category B).
• Can support and facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration based on the holistic care principles

As visitation officer and facilitator in Holistic Care you have an important role in the meeting with the citizen and the team around the citizen. You must both make decisions, be a sparring partner and help find good solutions together with the citizen. You also collaborate closely with relatives and others around the citizen.

You will have a daily routine where you are at the town hall, visit citizens and are close to the daily operations with the home care providers. You collaborate closely with home care providers and help ensure coherence between the help the citizen is granted and how the help is planned and delivered.

Who are we

Visitation and Guidance is part of the Department for Home-bound Citizens in the Center for Care and Health Promotion.

We are a team with different professional backgrounds who work closely together in everyday life. We have high professional standards, but there is also room for humor, sparring and helping each other when needed.

We are still in the process of developing our collaboration with the municipality's home care providers. This means we will come even closer to each other in daily life and work together to find good solutions with the citizens.

Employment process and salary

The start date is January 1, 2027.

We expect to hold first interviews on 9th, 10th and 11th November and second interviews on 13 November 2026.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours and is a permanent position.

We offer salary and terms of employment according to the agreement for nurses, physiotherapists or occupational therapists in municipalities and according to the principles of local pay formation and in agreement with the negotiating organisation.

The salary range for the position as a nurse is 38,336 DKK – 46,500 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

The salary range for the position as a physiotherapist is 31,311 DKK – 43,831 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

The salary range for the position as an occupational therapist is 31,311 DKK – 45,282 DKK per month before pension (37 hours)

The salary depends on negotiation between the manager and the professional organisation that has the right to negotiate for the applicable agreement.

The salary composition depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
