Vittenbergskolen Line S is seeking a teacher for a temporary position

Vittenbergskolen Linje S seeks two teachers for full-time substitutes with starting on November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The temporary positions run until the summer holidays 2027.

Vittenbergskolen seeks two dedicated teachers for S6A (grades 5-6) and Kompasset (grades 0-7) in our special education offering, Line S, Bramming. Line S is for students who need a tailored teaching program, as they do not benefit from instruction in general classes. Students in Line S may have a combination of complex social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties, often in the form of composite challenges and diagnoses.

We are seeking colleagues with a strong professional consciousness. You must be theoretically well-founded and able to translate it into practice.

It would be an advantage if you have extensive knowledge of working with children with autism and familiarity with developing and working from mastery schemes.

In the pedagogical work, emphasis is placed on a structured and pedagogically aligned approach to create safety and predictability for the student.

We focus on ensuring that all students become as proficient as possible given their starting points. We primarily work to create trust and security among the students, as we regard this as the foundation for development and reflection.

• You have solid special education knowledge and experience, particularly in autism and working with sensorily sensitive students.
• You are respectful, credible and loyal in your approach to both students and colleagues.
• You contribute to a daily life with a focus on learning, well-being, care and development of the individual student.
• You work in a structured yet creative way in your teaching and in your relational work.
• You have strong collaboration skills and can engage in close dialogue with colleagues, parents and other relevant professionals.
• You are familiar with and work from Esbjerg Municipality's view of children.
