Volvo Personal Technician (VPS) / mechanic

Can you fix cars and talk to people? Become a VPS technician at our Volvo workshop in Kolding!

At Autohuset Vestergaard in Kolding, we move the mechanic right to the front line. As our new VPS technician (Volvo Personal Service), you combine hardcore troubleshooting with direct customer contact. You own the entire process—from the moment the customer hands over the keys to the car rolling top-ready out of the workshop. There are also good opportunities to develop professionally and personally, if that is what you want.

You will work with troubleshooting, repair and service in close collaboration with the rest of the VPS Team. In the workshop you will be part of a team of about 30 skilled colleagues, and in the entire car house in Kolding you will gain over 100 new colleagues, all looking forward to welcoming you!

You will have a day-to-day where you

• Work independently on classic and varied mechanical tasks
• Work with technical problem solving
• Take care of customer reception, handling and follow-up
• Prepare new cars, including installation of additional equipment

You are a trained mechanic and…

• Maybe several years of experience. Familiarity with Volvo is an advantage but not required
• Have experience with customer contact and a high level of service
• Have a natural approach to working independently
• Be approachable
• Are solution-oriented and don't get discouraged by challenges
• Have a B driver's license

We offer

• Development opportunities in the form of further education and courses
• Development courses directly from manufacturers in software and technology
• Testing equipment for the respective car brands
• Good camaraderie with optional social events
• Top safety
• Good distribution of skills and interests within relevant tasks
• Collective agreement with Danish Industry, including pension scheme and health insurance

We require neither CV nor application - send an email with the text "VPS" followed by your name and phone number.

Aftermarket Manager Thomas Ibsen will call you for a non-committal chat. Send an email to: [email protected] .

Autohuset Vestergaard regards diversity as an asset and encourages everyone regardless of personal background to apply.
