About us

We are a well-functioning, self-managed day institution located in outer Frederiksberg, where presence, safety and play form the foundation for children's well-being and development.

We have 4 kindergarten groups and 5 nursery groups, lovely playgrounds and green courtyards that inspire play and community. We are divided into departments which means that the room that needs you is part of a team with 2 other rooms, where you together create a safe, recognizable and developmental day for the children and spar with each other in the department. The small teams make it feel like a small institution and create presence in the smaller community.

With us you meet a mixed staff group with both experienced and newly qualified pedagogues as well as skilled teaching assistants – all with a shared goal of making a difference for each child in Pelikanen.

We actively work with Fri for Mobberi (Free from Bullying), and we prioritise a culture where children learn empathy, respect and community through play and good relationships.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained pedagogue/ped. assistant and keen to work with children aged 0-3 years
• Are caring, engaged and present in your approach to children
• Have an eye for the individual child’s needs and well-being
• Can collaborate with colleagues, management and parents in an open and respectful manner
• Contribute actively to professional reflection, development and sparring in the staff group
• Have an interest in or experience with Fri for Mobberi and wellbeing-promoting work
