VVC - The School for Adults is looking for part-time FVU teachers (online Danish and English)

About the position

VVC – The School for Adults is seeking FVU instructors in Danish and English on a part-time basis. The teaching will as a rule take place online, so it is important that you thrive with digital teaching and can create presence, motivation and learning – even through the screen.

Your tasks will include

• teaching adults with different academic and personal prerequisites
• conducting the teaching primarily online
• planning and organizing the teaching based on the students' level and needs
• following the students' academic progression
• applying relevant digital tools in teaching
• being responsible for the necessary documentation and administration
• collaborating with VVC’s other teachers and staff

As a rule, all teaching starts from VVC in Albertslund and, as needed, at our partners.

We imagine that you

• are educated and approved to teach FVU Danish and/or FVU English. Alternatively you have a teaching degree, a master's degree in one of the mentioned areas or documented experience teaching adults
• If you also have experience teaching mathematics, that is an advantage
• are comfortable with online teaching and digital teaching methods
• can differentiate the instruction and meet each student where they are
• can create a safe, varied and motivating learning environment
• are engaged, approachable and good at building relationships
• meet the students respectfully and at eye level
• work independently and in a structured way – and at the same time value professional sparring
