WAN Project Manager for Data Infrastructure

Do you want to lead complex fiber and network projects and help develop critical data infrastructure for some of Denmark's largest customers?

We are seeking an experienced WAN Project Manager who can combine strong project management skills with technical understanding of fiber and data infrastructure. You will become part of our nationwide Data Infrastructure department, which consists of about 120 dedicated employees who design, install and service modern communication and IT infrastructure solutions.

About the position

As a WAN Project Manager you will be responsible for driving projects within WAN and fiber infrastructure from proposal and planning to implementation and handover. You will become the customers' primary contact and ensure that the projects are carried out efficiently, safely and with high quality.

The role gives you great influence on both the execution of projects and the development of long-lasting customer relationships.

Your tasks

• Project management of WAN and fiber infrastructure projects
• Cabling tasks within PDS as well as WAN/LAN fiber solutions
• Handling of LER and utility owner tasks
• Planning and coordination of fiber relocation projects
• Responsible for your own customer portfolio and development of close customer relationships
• Bid generation on smaller projects and service tasks
• Leadership and coordination of employees and external partners
• Ensuring project economics, resource management and schedules
• Ongoing reporting on project progress and results
• Ensuring compliance with applicable quality and safety requirements

Who are you?

You are a structured and relationship-building project manager who thrives with responsibility and complex tasks.

We imagine that you

• Have experience in project management within data infrastructure, fiber, networks or telecommunications
• Have technical understanding of fiber and copper cabling
• Have experience with WAN/LAN infrastructure
• Have knowledge of LER processes and working with utility owners
• Have experience with customer responsibility and building long-term customer relationships
• Have experience with or an interest in managing staff
• Work in a structured way and keep an overview in complex projects
• Communicate professionally in Danish and English
