Warehouse worker for a permanent position in Transport and Liquid Storage at Region Hovedstadens Pharmacy

Do you want to help deliver medicine to the hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark?

We are looking for a staff member to package medicine and handle returns to the hospitals in our Transport and Liquid Warehouse Team on Marielundvej in Herlev.

The Pharmacy of the Capital Region purchases and delivers medicine to hospitals and psychiatry in the Capital Region. The Transport and Liquid Warehouse is part of the Pharmacy's Logistics Department. Our primary work areas are receiving and packing liquids, packing liquid trolleys and receiving return medicine, as well as return packaging. The work is physically demanding, as we pick medicine from a traditional shelving storage and manually handle transport trolleys.

We are also responsible for the Pharmacy's transport tasks, including driving the Pharmacy's emergency cart. In addition, it is our task to cover shifts in the Logistics Department at Rigshospitalet, where we also pack liquid trolleys, and cover in our North Atlantic Department, which packs medicine for Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

You will join a team of 15 porters / warehouse and logistics operators.

Your primary tasks are

• Package medicine for the Region's Hospitals via electronic control
• Receive and sort return medicine, and handle return packaging
• Cover in the North Atlantic Department
• Assist in the department's other functions

We focus on quality and patient safety. We must deliver the right medicine to the right department, at the agreed time, without errors. It would be an advantage if you have warehouse experience, and we emphasize that you are meticulous, responsible and have a sense of order.

The work is independent, but you must be good at collaborating, so that we together manage to pack medicine and handle return packaging at the agreed delivery times.

Employment terms

• 37-hour workweek with a limited flexitime arrangement (Normal daytime hours) and weekends off
• Employment from December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the below collective agreement. The starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education, and the geographic location of the workplace.
