Waste collection worker at Rødovre Waste and Recycling

We are looking for a waste collection worker for garbage collection in Rødovre Waste and Recycling.

Rødovre Waste and Recycling handles the collection of waste for private households and public institutions in Rødovre Municipality as well as the operation of Rødovre Municipality's recycling center. We collect bulky waste, garden waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, metal and glass as well as food and residual waste, hazardous waste and textiles.

Working hours are on weekdays between 6:30 and 14:30.

We place a high value on service, and are happy to provide extra help to citizens with collection. In the company we work as a single team and help each other.

You will be part of a renovation team of about 35 employees of all ages, who together ensure the collection of waste in Rødovre Municipality and contribute to efficient handling, recycling and reutilization of resources.

Your profile

You must have a large truck driving license (category C) and a valid EU qualification certificate. It is an advantage if you have experience with waste collection and driving compactor trucks.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and in agreement with the negotiating organization. The position is paid monthly based on 37 hours per week.

Since waste collection also takes place on certain public holidays, you should expect to work on holidays that fall on weekdays.

Rødovre Waste and Recycling is smoke-free, and it is not allowed to smoke during working hours.
