About the job

We are looking for a nurse for our F-ACT team in the district psychiatric service Kalundborg.

The position will be 37 hours. We are open to a request for fewer hours. The position is available from 1 January 2027.

We are a district psychiatric service operating from the F-ACT model. The F-ACT model aims to offer more flexible treatment, where we to a greater extent have the opportunity to meet the patient in the person’s local environment, we have a greater opportunity to intensify treatment if the patient becomes unstable and in unstable phases the whole team will take on the task of stabilizing the patient. We work with shared caseload, where several disciplines take on tasks in the patient’s course to offer an interdisciplinary effort. We have a strong focus on promoting our patients’ recovery process.

Over the last 2.5 years, we have worked to offer patients with substance use a new treatment approach, namely integrated dual-diagnosis treatment, where we combine psychiatric treatment and substance use treatment with us. It has been exciting years, where we have continuously been upscaled. Furthermore, we are very conscious of working recovery-oriented; we actively work with Shared Decision Making and the CHIME elements.

Our two ordinary F-ACT teams cover the geographic area Holbæk, Kalundborg and Odsherred municipality. Each F-ACT covers a minimum of 2 municipalities, so you will also have colleagues you do not sit physically with on a daily basis and therefore you will experience meeting colleagues virtually. Our housing team has residents affiliated from Holbæk, Kalundborg, Odsherred, Slagelse, Ringsted and Sorø municipalities. In this team you will have conversations with patients in both the district psychiatry’s premises in Holbæk and in Kalundborg.

You will experience meeting the team virtually 4 days a week and one day a week all together on the same site. You will have conversations in the patient’s own home, in the patient’s local area, virtual conversations as well as ambulatory conversations. Collaboration with municipalities, substance misuse centers and social psychiatry is valued highly and we have great respect for each other and are curious about how we can strengthen our collaboration around common citizens even more.

You will be part of a team consisting of several disciplines, which are: chief physician, clinical psychologist, nurses, pedagogical worker, social worker, peer worker and secretaries.

Your qualifications

We are looking for an experienced nurse, preferably with a specialization in psychiatric nursing and preferably with experience in substance misuse treatment. You must be able to independently plan and structure your work and at the same time actively engage in the community. You should have an interest in involving the patient, their relatives and other relevant collaboration partners in the treatment, as well as an interest in working recovery-oriented.

We offer

A dynamic and engaged staff group

  • An workplace where supervision, well-being and a good working environment are given a high priority
  • Good opportunities for professional development, collegial sparring and interdisciplinary conferences
  • A high degree of independence and the opportunity to help plan your everyday life
  • Room for differences and a “high ceiling”
  • Onboarding: you will be welcomed with an introductory program, a mentoring scheme and planned conversations with your immediate supervisor.

We are in a workplace where we strive to take good care of the patients and of each other. In this context, it is important that the staff group possesses empathy and social understanding, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, prioritizes dialogue, where smiles and humor can often be a good leverage.

We receive citizens over 18 years old from Holbæk, Kalundborg and Odsherred municipalities for outpatient psychiatric treatment. We currently have about 750 patients. The staff group consists of nurses, specialist nurses, consultants, specialists doctors, psychologists, specialist psychologists, social workers, pedagogues, occupational therapists, peer workers and medical secretaries.
