About the job

The vacant position is planned for 37 hours per week, and is to be filled on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

What will your area of work be, and who will you work with?

Your primary task as an official in the flex job team will be to help and support unemployment benefit recipients in their journey toward a flex job. This includes, among other things, conducting the mandatory job interviews, where you assist with, for example, application materials, initiate relevant offerings and provide motivation, advice and guidance regarding concrete job searching.

In addition, you will be responsible for conducting the mandatory follow-up interviews with citizens who are employed in flex jobs. As part of the collaboration with the citizens, we also use Frederiksberg Digital Job Center, which is an online platform for unemployed citizens in Frederiksberg.

You will also need to work with the citizens in the flex job scheme who can no longer be available for a flex job, and who therefore must have their case presented to the municipality's pension committee. You will be responsible for documenting that work capacity has permanently ceased, and for preparing and presenting the case in writing to the pension committee for a decision.

You will have a fixed caseload, but the flex job team shares a common responsibility for the overall task solution and for ensuring the best results for the citizens.

The flex job team consists of four employees. The team works closely with both the Business Service and the municipality's disability consultant, who are important partners in the task solution. In addition, the team also communicates with doctors, other stakeholders, other job center teams, the social department, etc.

We work in a team-based environment with good opportunities for professional sparring, and with colleagues who actively help and support each other in daily life.

Our values

We focus on creating a workplace with a safe working environment where we include each other and acknowledge each other’s differences. That we are different and curious about one another is a strength that contributes to a more nuanced view of case processing. It also contributes to us being able to laugh together and lift each other with humor in a sometimes hectic environment.

We place emphasis on ongoing professional development and continuing education to ensure a high level of expertise. In addition, we emphasize that there is room for deepening knowledge in complex legal material.

You will have a lot of freedom to plan your own day, as well as a strong influence on the prioritization of the tasks to be solved. However, we work in a politically governed organization, and it may happen that urgent tasks come from the sidelines, which means we may have to drop what we are doing to solve the task.

Professional and personal competencies

It is an advantage if you have experience with the unemployment benefit and flex job area, alternatively you have authority experience from one of the other target groups in the Act on an Active Employment Policy.

Regardless of your level of experience, we will ensure you get a secure onboarding with thorough training.

We have structured training plans ready for you, and since we regularly have interns in the department, a strong learning environment is a completely natural part of our everyday life.

However, we expect that you

  • Have good knowledge of the law
  • Are good at communicating both verbally and in writing
  • Write in clear and understandable Danish and are aware that the citizens who need to understand us have very different prerequisites
  • Have a professional approach to citizens who call, and enjoy providing them with good service
  • Seek and value the good collaboration, which is a prerequisite for succeeding in the job
  • Believe that everyone has a place in the labor market, even if there is reduced work capacity and various accommodation needs
  • Active participation and contribution to the team’s development
  • Can adapt quickly in an environment that can be hectic at times
  • Have a flair for IT
  • Are comfortable navigating between several different IT systems and quickly become familiar with new systems. We use Fasit as the case system.

We offer

  • Central location with easy access to public transport
  • Good physical facilities
  • Nice canteen
  • An center with high professional standards where we value ongoing development
  • Flexible working hours
  • Possibility of home office

The application deadline is Thursday, 22 October 2026, at 12:00.

Employment interviews will be held in week 44.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.

Please note that we have a smoking policy that prohibits smoking during working hours.
