We are looking for a university intern for the P6 radio channel in spring 2027

Do you want to work with radio? And do you love music? Then we hope you will apply for the position of university intern at P6, DR's radio channel for alternative music.

Do you want to be an intern on a radio channel driven by a love of music?

At P6 we broadcast many hours of radio and -podcasts each week to our beloved listeners. And now we are seeking a university intern for our editorial team, which consists of dedicated music communicators.

As an intern at P6 you will get to know many layers of radio production, and you will gain experience with changing tasks across several different music programs. In particular on Morgenbeatet with Camilla Jane Lea, where you help write talking points or invite musical guests into the studio. And on the afternoon program Musiktjenesten , where you help Jacob Hinchely and his co-hosts develop fun music stories. You can also help cut together the week’s highlights for the weekend program Status .

We sit in the DR Musik department together with colleagues from, among others, P8, P5 and P4. And on P6 you will become part of a cross-program editorial team with a high ceiling and a cozy social atmosphere, but where we also work seriously to strengthen P6 as both a radio channel and a digital brand. You will gain experience with many disciplines within music communication and will develop a solid understanding of both the radio medium, podcasts, and our use of social media. You are welcome to contribute your own ideas for good stories, guests, and new initiatives along the way. In fact, we hope you will.

We expect that

• You know the channel and enjoy it
• You find music and culture communication interesting and relevant
• You can work in a structured way and take responsibility that your tasks are carried through
• You want to try editing audio and planning radio

We do not expect you to know everything in advance. We will help you get started well. There is good opportunity for sparring and post-critique, and we will continuously evaluate your progression so that you get the most out of it.

The internship is unpaid, takes place during daytime Monday to Friday and lasts about 5 months in the spring semester 2027. We will agree on the exact start and end dates.

It takes place in DR Byen, which has a metro right at the door.

If you have questions, please write or call the internship supervisor Valdemar Stauning at [email protected] / 61323132.
