About the job
Would you like to help ensure that all children experience play, learning and strong communities in high-quality early childhood education? And do you have the professional expertise and the human skills to supervise, advise and create professional engagement in good pedagogy?
Then maybe you are the person we are looking for in the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention.
About the job
You will become part of a collaborative and competent consultancy group that supports the shared core mission in Næstved Municipality for the 0-16 age group, namely that all children, regardless of background, shall be part of valuable communities. We work with a focus on creating strong general environments and participation opportunities for all children.
The tasks in the center are varied and range from development and project management of national and municipal initiatives to support for operational tasks, supervision, case handling and ongoing advice and sparring.
Your tasks
A large part of your task portfolio will be to conduct supervision in municipal and private institutions as well as day care. The goal is high-quality day care and thus to contribute to ongoing improvements in pedagogical practice. Supervision involves dialogue meetings with institutions and parents, leadership sparring and staff meetings.
As a consultant you will thus be an important sparring partner for area managers, daily managers and the head area, and you contribute to creating communities and good learning environments for all children.
Side by side with the work on supervision, you will solve various administrative tasks, e.g., handling inquiries from citizens and descriptions of new workflows and procedures in the organization. You will also work on development tasks e.g., arranging pedagogical days, presentations and ongoing guidance of leaders and staff in day care. You will also participate in development initiatives across administrations, areas and day-care institutions.
We can offer
You will become part of a workplace where we emphasize that diversity is a strength, and that different approaches to problems help ensure good solutions. We also emphasize openness and accessibility, that there should be room to think big, and that humor is important for a good working environment.
We collaborate closely on tasks and spar systematically with our colleagues and leaders.
About you
You are passionate about work with children's well-being, learning and participation and have solid knowledge of the day care area. It is also important for us that you:
- have experience with pedagogical practice development and can advise, coordinate and maintain an overview
- are good at communicating and have a flair for conveying both in writing and in oral contexts, e.g., presentations
- are committed to incorporating new knowledge and research into our shared task solving
- can thrive in both development tasks and administrative tasks
- are willing and perhaps have experience with case processing, political case presentation and handling of legislation in the area
- have good energy, enthusiasm and are curious when meeting others
You are most likely educated as a pedagogue with relevant post- or further education. It may also be that you have leadership experience and education
You will become part of the Center for Daycare, School and Prevention (CDSF) in the Pedagogy, Learning and Development team, where consultants from school and daycare work together to develop professional quality.
Relevant educational certificate and CV must be attached.
Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement entered into between KL and the negotiating organization.
