We are looking for an educator or PAU for our kindergarten department

Do you thrive with a lot of structure in daily life, and can you at the same time be flexible when the child group shows that you should do something else…

Do you simply love the kindergarten life, and can you not help but arrange exciting learning environments for the children, then you are the one we are looking for in Stenbuen.

In Stenbuen's kindergarten we work in open plan, which means that our rooms are arranged with different functions, including a motor skills room. Our child groups are divided into three age groups, with primary staff attached.

Three mornings the groups rotate in the different rooms, or on trips. On Mondays we have outdoor days, with fixed activity offerings, on our playground. On Fridays we have Friday Rock together with the oldest nursery children.

In the afternoons we work with a function-based division in the kindergarten.

Our rooms are furnished with different learning environments that clearly show what the child can do here. The staff move between the different functions according to a plan, and relate to the children who join the function. We want a colleague who can see the value in working this way.

You will be attached to an age group that you follow from their start in kindergarten until they move to SFO (after-school care).

For children and adults to succeed in Open Plan, there is a lot of fixed structure and role distribution among the adults.

We work with NEST pedagogy, and have the 5 H's in our planning, as well as visual support systems, clear adult roles and coordinated pedagogy. Always in a child-centered view, where we believe children are more alike than different, and that if a child does not succeed, it is the adults who must do something else.

Throughout 2027 we will participate in the project “Strong Child Communities” in Høje-Taastrup municipality, where we continue to strengthen the sense of community in inclusive learning environments with NEST pedagogy as the driving force.

You will be part of a close collaboration with colleagues in the kindergarten, where we use each other as sparring partners regarding the whole group of children.

Weekly study meetings and preparation time are included in the working hours.

We work with Rambøll language and dialogue, the language ladder, KIDS and it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of Rambøll's materials, but not a requirement, as you will be trained by your colleagues.

We need you as

• are a trained pedagogue
• naturally forms relationships with children, and can support them in understanding their emotions and relationships with one another
• can set a clear framework for a group of children and plan appropriate activities
• understand how to be clear and authentic in your meeting with children
• can arrange learning environments that give children opportunities for play and appropriately challenging learning

It is important to us that you are passionate about precisely the 3–6-year-olds, and that you can initiate LAHOPL programs (Legende Autentiske Hands-on Projektbaserede Læringsforløb). You understand the importance of being able to recognize children's initiatives, and to nurture them, as well as follow and adjust yourself to the child’s perspective.

As a person, you are calm, with a good overview and a humorous approach to the people you interact with.

We are a staff group with many years of experience. We are curious and open and, as colleagues, good at backing each other up and making each other look good. We are punctual, have high social capital and low sickness absence.

As the pedagogical leader at Stenbuen I place a high value on recognition and integrity as core values.
