We are looking for an independent and engaged pedagogue for Slagslunde SFO2 and the school.

We are looking for a pedagogue who is passionate about leisure-time pedagogy, and who can independently initiate play and activities in SFO II, and who is eager to work with children mainly aged 10-12, but can also flex to SFO if the house needs it.

You must have the courage to put yourself into play, and lead by example and show the children the way - a pedagogue with high professional competence and an affirming view of people.

You thus have the opportunity to become part of a well-functioning and engaged staff team that every day creates a safe and good framework for Slagslunde's children.

The position is 34 hours per week and the working hours are generally within opening hours which are between 6:30-17:00, but mainly in the period 10:00-17:00, Friday 10:00-16:00.

Slagslunde School is part of Ådal School.

The school has two sites, where the Slagslunde department is a rural village school with about 150 students from 0th to 6th grade.

The school's pupils continue to 7th grade at the Ganløse department, with which we have close cooperation.

We live in a wonderful area with access to an indoor sports hall and fantastic outdoor areas, which are ideal for movement, play and all kinds of outdoor activities.

We believe that active children are healthy children, and therefore the SFO is also DGIl-certified and we use sport, play and movement as an educational tool together with the creative and sensorimotor activities. Sport, play and movement are prioritized - both outdoors and indoors - as a fixed part of our activities in the SFO.

We are also a very musical school, and we place a high value on it as part of what we come together for. The school has a thriving musical life, with a fixed morning song every day, and good traditions for theatre and music, and concerts.

During opening hours we also focus on outdoor activities and creative workshops.

SFO2 is for students from 4th-6th grade.

We are in the process of renovating and furnishing rooms for this age group, so they have an area dedicated to them in their leisure time. Here you can help shape both the framework and the content.

SFO2 goes on many trips away from the premises, and is a regular participant in “Wild Volcanoes” every summer. We participate in sports events and Egedal Municipality's club festival.

As a new pedagogue in SFO2 you will have a regular collaboration with the teaching teams in the middle years, and become part of the overall 4th-6th grade team.

We work with clear structure, communication and documentation. The work to create participation opportunities for all children, together with a common set of values, forms the framework for our daily pedagogical work. In Egedal Municipality a pedagogical analysis model is used, which systematizes our work and ensures a systemic approach in our analyses. During your onboarding you will receive an introduction to the pedagogical analysis as well as mentalization.

All staff have completed a competence development program in co-teaching. You will also be introduced to this. Co-teaching is intended to support and professionalize collaboration in the school – including SFO staff's responsibilities and participation in the school.

In the Slagslunde department we continuously work to develop Egedal Municipality's six guiding principles for quality in Egedal's SFOs and clubs. They form - together with our goal and content description - the pedagogical foundation for our work with children in leisure time.

There is a good and rewarding collaboration between SFO and the school, where all groups work closely together. Since we are a small institution and school, it is important that you are ready to collaborate with everyone on the daily tasks that need to be solved and are flexible regarding the organization of work.
