In StøtteCompagniet we offer specialized pedagogical interventions for vulnerable children and adults with special needs. Our professional stance is based on Low Arousal , and all our interventions are tailored to the individual citizen with matched pedagogy. We work with presence, professionalism and a calm, respectful approach, where we meet people – not diagnoses.

We are looking for dedicated, responsible and experienced support contact persons with a passion for relationship work. You should want to make a difference and be able to cover one or more of the following interventions:

The time slots are fixed and fall on the specified weekdays.

Boy – 11 years (pedagogical support)

Monday-Sunday/ at 08:00-16:00 (even weeks)

Monday-Sunday/ at 13:00-17:00 (odd weeks)

Boy – 13 years (respite)

Friday/ at 12:00-15:00

We are looking for support contact persons who thrive in 1:1 relationships. As a support contact person you will become an important part of the citizen’s daily life, where, based on a trusting relationship, you help create well-being, development and support the goals set for the intervention. You will come very close to the families – in their own home – where your efforts make a concrete and tangible difference. This is where everyday life happens, and where your support can have a major impact.

We are looking for you who can truly cover one or more of the above times , and who can participate in a stable process over time.

About the job

• You work according to goals provided by the citizen’s case manager, but also with an eye to the citizen’s interests and own wishes.
• The hours and content are planned between you and the assigned coordinator for the intervention.
• We provide thorough introduction to the intervention(s), and give you the necessary support and sparring, as well as an introductory course.

What we’re looking for in you

• You have a qualification as a pedagogue, social worker, teacher or similar. We also welcome you if you are a student.
• You have experience and/or knowledge of developmental disorders, e.g. autism, ADHD, anxiety, OCD etc.
• You have good relational skills.
• You work independently in 1:1 relationships and have a calm and respectful approach with Low Arousal as the pedagogical foundation.
• You maintain calm and an overview in difficult situations – and see opportunities, even when the task is complex and requires perseverance.
• You can work a minimum of one weekend per month, but also on weekdays. Please mention in your application which times you’re available to work.

It is a prerequisite for consideration for the job that you have a car that you can make available for the job.

All employees are offered participation in internal training, as well as ongoing professional sparring and follow-up.
