To Børnehuset Mælkevejen in Søften we are currently seeking two pedagogues for our children's house – one in the kindergarten and one in the nursery. The positions are permanent and available from 1 November or as soon as possible thereafter and are 37 hours.

Are you

• Educated as a pedagogue
• Newly trained/experienced, so we have room for both.
• Stable and flexible and can work independently.
• For a healthy and trusting collaboration with parents.
• Willing to work in a professional learning community where we develop practice in relation to the needs of the children.
• Passionate about working with 3- to 5-year-olds.
• Agree that working hours will be within the institution's opening hours, which are 6.30-17

We are proud to be a large house, and we focus on seeing and using each other. Professionally you will become part of a staff group of 17 in the kindergarten and 15 in the nursery, with a daily manager in the house. We like being together and we use a lot of humor in our daily life.

Who are we

Børnehuset Mælkevejen is an age-integrated institution which currently accommodates about 140 wonderful children, including about 100 kindergarten children distributed over 5 rooms, of which one group is in a separate house, and 42 nursery children distributed over 3 rooms. The kindergarten and nursery have a close collaboration, as an important part of the transition from nursery to kindergarten, including the “Krudtugleklub” on Fridays. We value play, care and security in our interaction with the children.

Collegial values are: honesty, being real, and that we believe the best in each other and each other's intentions. We use feedback and feed-forward in our sparring with each other and we want to develop our practice together. We actively work with the strengthened curriculum and action-learning programs with a view to further developing kindergarten pedagogy at Mælkevejen.

We are part of the area institution Hinnerup Øst, which besides Mælkevejen consists of Børnehuset Nørreskoven, Børnehuset Rønbækken, Børnehuset Elmegården, Børnehuset Hop og Leg and Børnehaven Engen. We work closely together on common development goals and projects, but there is also room for the institutions to work toward the goals individually.

As an employee in the Hinnerup Øst area you will experience the opportunity for professional support very close to daily life through the area's four resource pedagogues. They contribute with sparring, reflection and development of the pedagogical practice, so we together create the best participation opportunities for all children.

This autumn we start a project focused on play as a pedagogical foundation, where several of the staff will participate in a competence development program focusing on a common language and direction in early childhood education.
