About the job

We are so fortunate to be expanding and therefore we are seeking a nurse for our housing team.

The position is full-time, but we are of course open to discussing the number of hours if there is a strong desire for fewer hours. The position is to be filled from 1 January 2027.

We work from the F-ACT model and have a separate model description for the housing team, a strong focus on strengthening the good collaboration with the housing facilities, including in the form of collaboration agreements. In addition, we offer integrated dual-diagnosis treatment in a 3-step implementation phase, where we in the summer entered the 3rd and final part of the implementation of IDD treatment.

We will continue to work with the F-ACT model and integrate substance abuse treatment within the frameworks we have. The F-ACT model aims to offer a more flexible treatment, where we more closely have the opportunity to meet the patient in their local environment. We also have the opportunity to intensify the treatment if the patient becomes unstable and in unstable phases the whole team will take on the task of stabilizing the patient. We have a strong focus on promoting our patients’ recovery process.

As of 1 January 2025 we have started expanding our housing team from housing patients from Holbæk, Kalundborg and Odsherred municipalities to also include housing patients from Slagelse, Ringsted and Sorø municipalities, and we have progressed far in the process of feeling like a new consolidated team. We meet physically in Holbæk 3 days a week for board meetings. The team is a field-based team, which means that half of your conversations will take place at the housing facilities.

We also offer virtual consultations and outreach visits. There is a strong focus on ensuring a good collaboration with the housing facilities, which is why sparring and expectation alignment will be part of the dialogue. You will be part of a team consisting of several professional groups; there is attachment to a chief physician, consulting physician, senior psychologist, nurses, pedagogues, social educator, occupational therapist, secretaries and peer workers.

We actively work with onboarding and what recent employees have said is that you receive a warm and good reception. It is a team with a good atmosphere and everyone actively contributes to creating a positive mood. There is room for questions and sparring with nearby colleagues. You will receive an introductory program, a mentor scheme and planned conversations with your immediate supervisor in the first year of your employment.

Your qualifications

We are looking for nurses with experience. You must be able to independently plan and structure your work and at the same time actively engage in the community. You must have an interest in involving the patient, relatives and other relevant collaborators in the treatment as well as an interest in working recovery-oriented. As we are very field-based, it is a requirement that you have a Category B driving license. You must be prepared that your primary task will be to be the clinical contact person for approximately 30 patients.

We offer

An engaged staff group with room for differences and a “high ceiling.” Supervision, well-being and a good working environment are prioritized. There are opportunities for professional development, collegial sparring and interdisciplinary conferences. You can work with a high degree of independence and have the opportunity to help plan your daily life. We can offer you a workplace where we strive to take good care of the patients and of each other.

In this context it is important that the staff team possesses empathy and social understanding, can stay calm in stressful situations, prioritizes dialogue and where smiles and humor can often be a good lever.
