We are seeking a clinical supervisor for Nordfyns Municipality's home visiting nursing

The mobile municipal nurses are organized in single-discipline teams under nursing leadership in the Department of Health Preparedness and Treatment, which consists of mobile nursing care and, until 1 January 2027, also acute nursing care and temporary placements. The mobile nurses collaborate on a daily basis across disciplines with the other units under the area of Adult Welfare, which includes home care and social support, training and prevention, including rehabilitation therapists as well as nursing homes and residential facilities.

The municipal nursing consists of 34 mobile nurses distributed in three teams stationed from Søndersø, Bogense and Otterup. Evening and night shifts operate from Søndersø, as do the day shifts on weekends. The nurse we are seeking will be based in the Søndersø team.

Our main tasks are characterized by

• a high degree of coordination in connection with admission to and discharge of citizens
• care pathway coordination of unstable and complex citizen journeys
• advice, guidance and teaching of colleagues, students, trainees and citizens and relatives
• prevention of hospital admissions among citizens through assessment and treatment
• reassuring actions for citizens and relatives as well as your colleagues
• palliative, routine and acute pathways
• clinical nursing tasks such as wound and compression treatment, medication management including IV therapy, P-dialysis, parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy pumps, chest drainage, etc.

As a clinical supervisor you will have the opportunity for a professional community with the other clinical supervisors in Nordfyns Municipality. You will be involved in planning and carrying out PBL with students across Adult Welfare. You will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with the training supervisors and the area manager responsible for education.

You will certainly have an exciting and varied daily life working with students and citizens' often complex medical pictures. You will be responsible for clinical supervision and examination of students on the 4th and 6th semester.

All the practicalities

We need a nurse who has a clinical supervisor education or wishes to pursue it. The position is 32-37 hours with weekend shifts every 4th weekend starting 1 December 2026.

The shifts will primarily be day shifts, but there may be a need for occasional fixed evening or night shifts planned over a 16-week cycle.

It is necessary that you have a driver's license.

Expected salary range to be disclosed at the first interview. The final salary will be set based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiation with the professional organization.
