We are seeking trainees for Foundation Course 2 (GF2) for the Social and Health Education programs.

GF2 is the entry to the Social and Health Helper Education (SSH) and to the Social and Health Assistant Education (SSA).

Lemvig Municipality is seeking students for the social and health educations with a start on GF2 on January 11, 2027. If you are a student, GF2 can be shortened to 8 weeks starting November 3, 2026. If you have completed GF2 for PA or trained as PA, GF2 can be shortened to 4 weeks.

GF2 normally lasts 20 weeks and provides access to SSH, which takes 14 months, and SSA, which takes 2 years and 10 months. Both SSH and SSA education alternate between school and on-the-job training. The school periods are typically held at the Social and Health School Central and West Jutland, Døesvej 66 in Holstebro. When you are in training, you become part of the work community at the training site, and you will work both evenings and weekends in accordance with the collective agreement.

• Apply for admission to GF2 at www.optagelse.dk

Under “Apply for upper secondary education or 10th grade” you sign up for the Foundation Course. Here you can securely upload your school and education certificates. You will receive a letter from the SOSU School in your e-Boks when they have received your application.

• Have an “Education Plan” prepared, which is drawn up by the study guidance at the SOSU School - contact study guidance at Social- and Health School Central and West Jutland at tel. 96272920 on weekdays between 9 and 11. Or contact the study guidance by email: [email protected]
• If you are over 25, you must also have completed an RKV (Recognition of Prior Learning). This is done by signing up for an RKV day, either at the school in Herning or in Holstebro. Practical information - The trainee position is 37 hours per week.
