About Engparken

Engparken is a nursing home in Brande with 47 care apartments. The nursing home was built in 1998 and offers bright, friendly and well-appointed residences. We focus on a good everyday life and create safe settings that meet each resident's needs. With an active daytime care center and many volunteers, we offer an environment with presence and community.

We work according to Tom Kitwood's theory of person-centered care, where the resident's life history and needs are central. Our approach is rehabilitative, with a focus on supporting residents' activity and independence.

About the position

We are looking for

• Weekend and holiday relief staff
• On-call relief for weekdays

We would very much like to use your help over a longer period.

As a substitute/relief worker you will, after thorough training, participate in daily care and assistance for our residents. The training includes, among other things:

• Electronic care system CURA
• Transfers
• Medication management

Your tasks will include

• Assistance with personal care
• Assistance with meals
• Transfers
• Participation in activities and social interaction with residents

You will become part of a team, attached to a small group of residents, and you will work closely with dedicated colleagues, including social and health assistants, social and health helpers, nurses and an occupational therapist.

Working hours

• Day shifts are between 07:00 - 15:00
• Evening shifts are between 14:00 and latest 23:00

On weekends there is the possibility of fixed arrangements (every 2nd, 3rd or 4th weekend). If you want more flexibility, you can also bid for available shifts yourself.

Who are you?

• You are reliable and responsible
• You have initiative and a desire to work with older people
• You thrive in teamwork and take an active part in daily life

It is an advantage if you

• Are a skilled professional or currently pursuing a health-related education
• Are retired or a pensioner with a health-related background
• Have other relevant experience
• Experience is not a requirement – the most important is your reliability and interest in working with older people.
