About the job
Work schedule planner for a new joint planning team in Operation and Intensive Care
Would you like to be part of building a completely new team?
Are you structured and responsible with a sharp organizational overview? Do you thrive in a daily routine where many considerations must come together and where dialogue and collaboration are an important part of the task? And are you motivated by creating work schedules that support both cohesive, high-quality patient pathways and a good working environment for the staff? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you.
About the position
In Operation and Intensive Care (OPI) at Regionshospitalet Gødstrup we are establishing a new work schedule planning team, organizationally positioned as a staff function in the department. Therefore we are recruiting three work schedule planners, who together will build and develop our new planning team from 1 January 2027 or by agreement.
OPI is a large department with around 400 staff distributed across several professional groups, primarily doctors and nurses, within areas such as surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, recovery and the sterilization area. We work around the clock year-round - across multiple professional groups and specialties. This places high demands on work schedule planning, which must be robust, flexible and close to the clinical daily life.
As a work schedule planner you will have a central role. Good workforce planning has a great impact on employees' well-being and work-life balance and at the same time on ensuring the right competencies are present when patients need them.
You must therefore be able to create work schedules where employees' wishes and needs are balanced with the considerations of patient pathways, the necessary competencies, the department's activity and the overall operation. It requires structure and systematic thinking – but also dialogue, integrity and the ability to find solutions when the puzzle does not immediately fit.
You will be part of a team of three, who together will have the opportunity to shape the new function and create good common workflows. The role will be close to the staff and the clinical operation with a close collaboration with managers and clinical key persons. In the future, we want to explore the possibilities of AI as part of the task solution.
The positions are full-time with weekday work.
