Become part of the community at Nordregårdsskolen We are looking for you who want to be our new Danish teacher in a 2nd grade class with start after the autumn break and until February 2027

In addition, you are very welcome to have a major subject or an interest in teaching one or more of the following subjects: art, English and music.

You will become part of a year-group team with skilled and experienced teachers and pedagogues. You will naturally also be attached to subject committees where it is possible to spar with your colleagues about the subjects.

Welcome to your new workplace Nordregårdsskolen is a well-functioning two-track school with about 355 pupils from kindergarten to 9th grade and 50 dedicated staff members. The school is phase-divided, and teachers and pedagogues work in year-group teams with scheduled time for team meetings.

The school is located in the western part of the municipality with good transport connections. It is easy to get here by car or by bicycle. Tårnby station is a few minutes’ walk from the school.

Here is your daily life The year-group team is fundamental to the collaboration around the students and teaching, just as our subject teams form the basis for creating coherence in the academic development. We work, among other things, with the digital learning platform MinUddannelse and Professional Learning Communities (PLF). We have a strong focus on learning and well-being going hand in hand and have for many years worked to strengthen well-being, among other things through Skolestyrken’s tools.

• You are a trained teacher and have one or more of the above subjects
• Good at clear and affirming classroom management
• Ambitious regarding your teaching and actively work with learning goals
• Have experience with inclusive work

In Tårnby Municipality we offer, in collaboration with DLF, Section 13, an introductory program for newly qualified teachers and kindergarten class leaders. The introductory program consists of three themed afternoons, and a "Know your municipality" event. The first two years as a newly qualified teacher you have reduced teaching time, and at all schools there is a mentoring scheme. We make an effort to give you a good start to your teaching life.

Løn- og ansættelsesvilkår The employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Teachers (Lærernes Centralorganisation) after negotiation.
