A little about Egegården

At Egegården professionalism is the focal point of our collaboration. We share knowledge at our daily meetings, consult with each other across disciplines and hold resident conferences as well as professional supervision with an external consultant.

We work with Tom Kitwood's theory of person-centered care , where we base our approach on the individual person’s wishes, needs and resources. For us, care is not only about nursing and treatment, but also about presence, relationships, joy of life and meaningful experiences.

We regard Egegården as a village within a city for our residents, where we help each other and collaborate across disciplines. We have, among other things, our own physiotherapist, occupational therapist, hairdresser, podiatrist, dentist and general practitioner.
