Would you like to try out the specialist area? We are looking for on-call substitutes.

On-call substitute at Humlehaven – maybe your first step into the special education field?

Are you considering an education in, for example, psychology, occupational therapy, pedagogy or another field where you work with people ? Or do you simply want meaningful work with children?

Then you have the opportunity to gain experience in special education as an on-call substitute with us at Humlehaven.

Humlehaven is a specialized department under Stavnsholt Børnehus. We have 15 children spread across three small rooms with five children in each. The children have different developmental and communicative needs and need adults who meet them with calm, curiosity and presence.

We are looking for on-call substitutes who can step in during illness, holidays and other absence. You do not need to have experience from the special education field – we will help you into the role.

Perhaps it is you if you

are considering an education such as, for example, a pedagogue, occupational therapist or psychologist and would like to gain relevant experience

are curious about children who have different ways of being, playing and communicating

are calm, present and want to build good relationships

are stable and take responsibility when you say yes to a shift

want to learn and participate in close collaboration with our permanent staff.

What will you get with us?

You gain experience from an exciting area of special pedagogy and an opportunity to learn more about, among other things, communication, relationships, structure and children's development.

You will become part of a house with committed colleagues who help you get to know the children and daily life.

The job may be a good fit for you if you have a sabbatical year , are in training or would like to try whether working with children and special pedagogy could be a path for you.

Curious?

Send us a short application telling us a little about yourself and why you would like to become an on-call substitute in Humlehaven.

We look forward to hearing from you.
