We are looking for a nurse for a one-year maternity leave position at Botilbuddet Østrup from 1 January 2027. Here you will have the opportunity to use your nursing expertise in a setting different from classical nursing.

You will become part of the residents’ everyday life and a multidisciplinary environment where health care, pedagogy and relationships are closely linked. You will have an independent health-related responsibility, but you will not be alone. You will become part of a strong collegial community and will also have the opportunity for professional sparring with nurses across Hyldgaard & Larsen.

This is a position for you who like to have time to see the whole person - and who thrives on translating your nursing knowledge into solutions that work in the individual’s daily life.

What will your role be? As a nurse you will be an important health-related resource in the house. You will monitor residents’ health and well-being and help ensure coherence between health-related actions and the pedagogical everyday life.

Your tasks will include

• Conducting health conversations with residents and following up on relevant actions
• Managing medication administration and ensuring quality in health-related tasks
• Coordinating and collaborating with doctors, psychiatry, the municipality and other treated
• Documenting and following up on residents’ health-related interventions
• Contributing health-related knowledge and sparring in the cross-disciplinary collaboration

An important part of the job is to build a bridge between health care and pedagogy . You must be able to translate your professional knowledge into the concrete daily life around the resident and at the same time have an eye for inclusion, so that the individual is seen and heard and has the greatest possible influence on their own health and treatment.

Who are you? You are a trained nurse and preferably have experience from psychiatry or from working with people with complex psychiatric, somatic and social challenges.

You do not need to know everything in advance. The most important is that you are professionally curious, able to work independently and at the same time thrive in a close multidisciplinary collaboration.

You can keep an overview when a situation is complex, and you have a sense for both the health-related aspects and the person behind the diagnosis. You work in a structured way with coordination and documentation - but you also know that a good solution is not always found in a manual.

Practical information This is a maternity leave position from 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2028 .

Your workplace is Botilbuddet Østrup, Svoldrupvej 167, 9600 Aars , and working hours are mainly during daytime on weekdays.

Salary and terms of employment are agreed individually. Health insurance is included.
