ZBC is seeking a heavy vehicle driving instructor for driver training with starting date on December 1, 2026.

About the job

Your main focus will be teaching the students who need a heavy vehicle driving license. If you have broader competencies, your tasks will be adjusted accordingly.

In the department we have about 20 instructors who work diligently to educate students and trainees for the jobs of the future.

We are also a department that has undergone a generational change, so you will have ample opportunity to contribute with good ideas for developing both teaching and the department in general.

We imagine that you

• Are a trained heavy vehicle driving instructor and preferably with 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Have good collaboration skills and understand the shared responsibility when working in teams
• Have experience with teaching, or are eager to try it out
• Are prepared to obtain two upper secondary subjects at A level no later than two years after appointment, or already have them
• Are willing to develop yourself both professionally and personally, e.g. through continuing education

If you have completed a pedagogical education at diploma level and have general competencies corresponding to the level of the vocational upper secondary education, that is a plus, but not a requirement. In that case, we will help you with the necessary pedagogical continuing education so you can meet the teaching requirements expected of a teacher.

Employment

This is a permanent full-time position, and we look forward to welcoming you on December 1, 2026, and preferably earlier.

The appointment is made on civil servant-like terms under agreements between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Teachers’ Union. This includes a pension scheme of 18%.

The employment area is ZBC, and your primary workplace will be our Auto, Transport and Logistics Department, Dalsvinget 18-20, 4200 Slagelse.

As an educational institution we will carry out a child certificate check in connection with a possible appointment.
