Do you want to help develop the magazines of the future?

MinBy™ is looking for ambitious journalists, writers and editors to develop, research and produce our many digital magazine concepts.

We are looking for people with journalistic understanding, strong communication skills, independence and ambition , who want to be part of building something new.

You do not need to fit into a traditional journalism job profile. We are interested in both experienced professionals, specialists and talented candidates with potential.

ABOUT MINBY™

MinBy™ is developing a nationwide digital media network that combines local journalism, digital magazines, special media and modern technology.

Our media structure includes

• 1,522 ultra-local media spread across Denmark's 98 municipalities.
• 30 passion- and situation-based magazine concepts.
• Municipal, regional and nationwide digital publications.
• Special magazines about people, companies, culture, experiences and societal issues.

We are developing a media model where journalism, technology and digital distribution work together in new ways.

The portfolio is continually developed with new titles, themes and target groups.

That means you can work on everything from investigative research and business portraits to cultural journalism, lifestyle, local history and specialized themed publications.

YOUR TASKS

Depending on your experience and competencies, you will work with one or more of the following tasks:

Research and journalism

• Identify interesting stories, people, companies and current topics.
• Conduct research, interviews and collect documentation.
• Develop journalistic angles and relevant magazine topics.

Articles and content production

• Write portraits, reports, interviews and background articles.
• Prepare content for municipal, national and specialized magazines.
• Edit and adapt content for different audiences and publications.

Editing and magazine development

• Develop new magazine concepts, themes and content structures.
• Plan and coordinate editorial content.
• Edit, quality assure and fact-check articles.
• Contribute to developing efficient editorial production processes.

AI and new working methods

• Apply AI and digital tools to research, analysis and production.
• Develop smarter workflows without compromising quality.
• Ensure that technology supports journalistic professionalism and human judgment.

WHO ARE YOU?

You may be a trained journalist, an experienced writer, editor or have achieved equivalent competencies through practical work.

We especially value that you

• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Have strong writing and analytical skills.
• Are thorough with research, facts and documentation.
• Can translate complex topics into engaging and understandable content.
• Have journalistic curiosity and can find stories others overlook.
• Are structured, quality-conscious and results-oriented.
• Have an interest in AI, digital media and new production methods.
• Have ambitions to become significantly more proficient and develop your competencies.

We do not expect you to know everything from the start. Instead, we expect that you have the desire and ability to learn.

Employment terms, scope of work and compensation are agreed individually.
