About the job

As a педагог with us, you become part of a dedicated community based on a neuro-pedagogical approach. Your main tasks will be to:

• Help residents live a meaningful, active and as independent life as possible.
• Work with a diverse group of residents with different needs and resources.
• Work with residents' action plans, documentation and professional goals.
• Participate in supervision and contribute to collective professional development.
• Collaborate closely with relatives and external partners
• Act professionally and reflect on your own practice.

The position is 37 hours per week and working hours fall within 7.00 to 23.00 and are distributed across day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. You will have shifts every other weekend.

About you

We would like you to be

• Qualified special educator or pedagog with a desire for professional development; have experience in the area.
• Professionally well-founded, stable and adaptable
• Familiar with or interested in neuro-pedagogy and Low Arousal.
• Have good writing skills and IT skills – preferably experience with KMD Nexus.
• Flexible, creative and always put the resident at the centre of your actions.
• Able to work independently, structured and methodical.
• Relation-competent, caring and loyal to the team's decisions.
• Thrives in working both day, evening, weekend and on holidays.

The Bramsnæsvig residential care facility is part of Lejre Municipality’s services for adults with developmental disabilities. We offer support under the Danish Social Services Act §§ 83 and 85, and our target group is adults with developmental disabilities who need pedagogical and/or practical support in most aspects of life. The residential facility comprises 27 apartments, physically located in Kirke Hyllinge.
