Are you reliable, accommodating, and ready to make a real difference for a family? Aarhus Municipality is seeking as soon as possible a stable hourly substitute for a 12-year-old girl living in Solbjerg.

You will be employed as an hourly-paid employee in a position of 13 hours per month, normally distributed over two weekend shifts.

About the task and the girl

You will enjoy 1:1 companionship with a sweet girl in the family’s house in Solbjerg, where two dogs also live.

The girl is diagnosed with autism, ADHD, OCD and suffers from anxiety. You do not need to have knowledge of all the diagnoses in advance – the most important thing is that you have an open mind and are willing to get to know her.

Your time together will include plenty of cozy moments. The girl loves animals, is incredibly skilled at drawing, and would very much like to be creative with you.

The task may also involve short walks to the nearby lake, or simply being present in the home and creating security while she takes a break in her room.

Note: The girl communicates exclusively in English and at a high level. It is therefore a requirement that you understand English, but you do not necessarily have to speak English to the girl yourself.

Expectations of you

• Can see yourself in the job for a longer period (preferably at least 1 year) to ensure stability.
• Is reliable, calm and good at keeping to agreements.
• Happy with animals
• Understands English without problems.
• Can work on weekends.
• Can transport yourself to and from the home in Solbjerg.
• Understands English without problems

We offer

Salary and terms of employment

• The hourly wage is:
• Normal hours 110 = DKK 145.97

Overtime - 833 = DKK 31.55

Saturday allowance - 831 = DKK 38.19

Weekend allowance - 832 = DKK 70.33

You are covered by the Holiday Act and accrue holiday pay of 12.5% of the wage. The wage is not pensionable.

The position is at any time conditional on a satisfactory private criminal record check and an unblemished child certificate.
