The position is attached to the secretariat team, but will work broadly into the rest of Strategy and Council, the other staff and the hospital's many clinical departments. In the secretariat we work with strategic support of the hospital's management. In practice it is about both supporting the management's daily work and the strategic work, which is often in close collaboration with the other staff, the clinical departments and in the form of external partners, such as general practitioners and municipalities.

Our new colleague will primarily work with

  • To participate in the department's tasks regarding patient compensation and complaints in general, including case handling in collaboration with the clinical departments and the dialogue with both the Danish Board of Patient Complaints, the Patient Compensation and the affected citizens.
  • To support the hospital's other staff and clinical departments in relation to clarification of administrative and/or health-legal issues in collaboration with the region's lawyers, etc.
  • To contribute to the work of coordinating and drafting responses to selected national or regional hearings and statements for example for the political level.

In addition, you will also, as needed, participate in the other tasks of the department, e.g., secretariat support, case handling, main mailbox, notes etc., depending on where your help is most needed. In Strategy and Council, everyone is expected to support each other during illness, during holidays or in busy periods in general.

Who are you?

We expect that you have a relevant master's degree, e.g., in the social or health sciences, and experience from the health service with one or more of the above task areas. If you have insight into health law and our electronic patient journal (EPJ) or are willing to gain it, that is an advantage. To succeed in the position it is important that you have good communication skills both written and spoken. You are quick at creating an overview and easy to gain insight into new areas.

You work in a structured and independent way, and you have respect for deadlines. You are good at building collaboration spaces and easily engage in constructive and open dialogue with both citizens, leaders, clinical and administrative colleagues. In addition, you are:

  • Good at understanding and communicating complex issues in an easily understandable way.

  • Skilled at coordinating across several functions.
  • Structured, independent and responsible.
  • Open, curious, engaged and flexible regarding tasks and colleagues.
  • Naturally interested in improving processes and routines.
